of how to LOOSE a match from Winning Position! You had so many chances, but didn't grab them. No one can be so Lucky & if after having so many chances you fail to grab, you have no right to call yourself Unlucky.

They had created those chances despite being on the backfoot due to rain.

The Game wins

Yestardays game was exhibition of sporstmanship,it is game which can be showcased to the world and proudly say, this is why cricket is called gentlemans game.
There were no swearing ins,on-field altercations between rival teams,no over the top celebrations,no sledging,no mind games. It is the cleanest cricket match I have seen in years.
The match might be clean one, thrilling and a well fought one but quality was very poor, there were too many mistakes performed by both the teams.South Africa performed more mistakes than New Zealand and have to eventually bow out.
I am sad to say that South Africa did choked in the end.

Feel for South Africa
by Manohar Rao on Mar 25, 2015 08:52 AM

Although i feel for South Africa, one must agree that the best fielding unit among the cricket playing nations have failed to perform when it mattered most.Their batting was excellent, their bowling was excellent, their commitment was excellent but were let down by their fielding and constant foe the rain.

couldn't hold back my tears when saw images of AB sulking on TV just after the match ended. C'mon, please don't call them chokers anymore. They gave their hearts out and winners of our hearts.

for ABD.Such a wonderful batsman, every time coming up with some innovative shots.Had a great world cup in terms of his personal contribution - 482 runs at an average of 96 and strike rate of 144. Both New Zealand and South Africa were good.Unfortunately, one team had to go.Sympathies ABD.

worth watching is something like two equally talented teams play and there's a close finish. In that way, surely a couple of matches in the league stage of associates were worth watching. Yes, the "STAR" tag was missing.

There were many matches worth watching, especially between the associates.
This match was certainly the cleanest match in over a decade and an example for other teams that how can you contest hard without loosing the gentleman's charm. Hats off to both the teams for their sportsmanship and upholding the image of the game as gentleman's game.
