India and New Zealand players are not in top 10, which shows that both these teams have topped their respective groups because they played as a team. Everybody contributed some way or other in every match.Other teams are lagging behind because they relied on individual contributions more than team contribution.
Cricket is a team game and one must look at it in similar perspective.

Kudos India and New Zealand, would like to see these teams in the final fighting for the trophy.

What happened in this world cup is India and South africa depended more on the entire team rather than individuals. For India almost all the players are clicking in one match or other and they did not find any name in the top five as it is not dependent on single player

Nonsensical Chart
by Mak Kumar on Mar 20, 2015 10:05 AM  | Hide replies

The whole chart is so illogical- The very fact that the guys from India and NZ - the most successful teams till now in the WC do not show up in the top five MVP shows that the ratings system is flawed!

Agreed. The whole MVP ratings are absolutely useless and meaning less.. How come Gayle got higher ratings than the match winners Starc and Mahmadullah? He just made one double hundred and no more useful knocks.
