When the indian team went to Australia everyone thought with so much talented players on the tour Indian team is going to make some difference, but that was not to be and they struggled to win even a single match. Then came the world cup and surprise to surprise Indian team won 7 matches on a trot and now they need to continue their winning josh for two more matches only. Ausies are a different cup of tea but not impossible team to beat. Indian team Just need to think that they are playing match in india against banladesh!!!!. That attitude can make quite a difference.
and many Indian cricket fans are building taller and taller castles in the air each passing day with regard to Indias prospects at the world cup !
Apart from the two league stage victories against South Africa and Pakistan, each of the other victories has come against unfancied sides.
And the victories against SA and Pakistan at the beginning stages of the world cup cannot be taken too seriously since those could have really have been off days for those teams (especially South Africa).
The real test for India comes in the semi-final.
And it might be prudent to wait till that game is over before everyone continues with their castle building !

Quote any other side which has more than 2 wins over regular and stronger teams...
Since this is Q'final and knock-out stage every match is important.. (in 1983 no-one thought India would win WC)
