there's no excuse for rubel hossains unsporting behaviour when he got virat. having said that, one can see bangla beggars are sore loosers and they should purchase several dozens of burnol for themselves and their fans back home on the way back. or if they cannot afford, india can buy for them. the point is, beggars cannot be choosers.

was OUT as that was a legitimate delivery. It seems that when Umpire calls it a waist high No ball, Fielding team can not go for review. ICC should take note of this seriously as in crucial matches, such decisions are vital. Having said that, Bangladeshi batsmen played very badly - so no excuses for that!

It was a beamer (dangerous delivery) bowled deliberately by bowler hence umpire well within his rights to call it a no ball. In fact Indian should appeal to ICC why no action has been taken the Bangalesh captain and the bowler for the unsporting spirit

When India lost Sydney 2008 it was Aussies who were unsporting. Now India win so Bangladesh is unsporting. Funny. :-)

Any team will feel deprived and dented when such crucial wickets get denied by the umpires, and ICC must ask umpires to refer all appeals which are close,so that needless debates can be minimised. But very good teams do not keep such things in mind and carry out their game with a professional zeal to win.Bangladesh must not blow these misses and must pursue excellence which can be theirs if they want.

benefit of doubt should go to batsman
by ch venkatesh on Mar 19, 2015 08:27 PM  | Hide replies

Fundamental principle in cricket game is any benefit of doubt marginal should go to the batsman - this principle is followed for centuries. I donot know who asked this question to Bangladesh captain. Good that Bangladesh had put in good effort. It does not mean this decision of touch-and-go would have make them won this match?? Common.

He lacks sportsman spirit, also the pressure was no there when this happened in fact the pressure was blown off when the captain bowled first over after a short interruption caused by rain...in that over the batsman scored so freely and then B'desh could not stop the rally...
