Turning point...

Though to the credit of the team, they did not panic and preserved wickets when the wicket was sluggish, the turning point was when the showers came and gave some 'life' to the Wicket. Otherwise India might have scored 250 , but still would have won.

The Indian team captain, the Indian media

and many Indian cricket fans are building taller and taller castles in the air each passing day with regard to Indias prospects at the world cup !

Apart from the two league stage victories against South Africa and Pakistan, each of the other victories has come against unfancied sides.

And the victories against SA and Pakistan at the beginning stages of the world cup cannot be taken too seriously since those could have really have been an off day for those teams (especially South Africa).

The real test for India comes in the semi-final.

And it might be prudent to wait till that game is over before everyone continues with their castle building !
