Newzealand will beat West Indies as west Indies are not consistent and the same is the case with that of Pakistan. Australia will win over pakistan. Srilanka on current form will beat SOUTH AFRICA. India will win over Bangladesh as they are unbeaten in six matches in a row

IND,AUS&NZ
by damodaran mohan on Mar 16, 2015 04:07 PM

(contd.)In the next Qtr, India are clear favorites over the ever inconsistent B’Desh.Their two last spirited performances against ENG & NZ must have boosted their confidence and should help them put up a good fight. Their batting middle order is applying themselves well for a change and their pacers like Ruble Hossain,Mashraffe Murtaza are also looking quite sharp. But still they could have upper hand at best only for a brief period at the start of the Indian batting but rest of the time the Indians are expected to dominate the match. In the 3rd qtrs at Adelaide the Aus playing in their home conditions are certainly the favorites although they have looked a bit rusty due to long lay offs. A Pak win could make things relatively easier for India in the semis although India look good to beat Aus too. In the last qtr the perennial underdogs Kiwis seem to be a picture of aggression brimming with confidence under their new captain! Moreover the distracted and inconsistent WI could find it difficult to cope with the very effective pace and spin onslaught of the Kiwis.

SL-SA IT IS 50-50 WITH SLIGHT EDGE TO SL.
by damodaran mohan on Mar 16, 2015 04:06 PM

It is really heartening to see all the four Asian sides making it to the qtrs ! Two of them, India and B’desh are fighting each other and so only one of them will go through. So a minimum of one to a max of three Asian sides could make it to the semis and this by itself proves their dominance in world cricket. India as the major cricketing force in the region certainly deserves a big share of credit for the same. Pak too needs to be complimented for making it to the Qtrs although no international cricket is played in that country for over 4-5 yrs now ! If only they could get over their obsession with religion perhaps they could do wonders! Now coming to the Qtrs , SL-SA match appears a 50-50 game and should SL bat first they have an edge with a strong batting. Their bowling looks weak but Malinga seems to be improving towards the end of the group clashes and should he come close to his original form then they stand good chance.SA on paper are one of the favorites alright but going by their group outings they wilt under pressure. While the batting has been a one man army the bowling doesn’t appear all that sharp as the names suggest.

Asia Cup we lost because of Sachin
by sheetal mishra on Mar 16, 2015 03:49 PM  | Hide replies

Good, this is the quarter final and sachin is not playing against bangladesh. Sachin Last one day was against bangladesh, where he slowed the innining to complete his 100 international century and india lost the Asia Cup against bangladesh. That was the last one day international of Sachin and after that he didnt get selection to play one day and retired off the field not on the field.
