Sri Lanka wants to move to 3rd Position in Pool A, just to avoide facing INDIA in Quarter Finals, who are performing well in Pool B.

Well said. India moved to first place in Pool B just to avoid facing NZ or Australia. Dude, your logic works both ways. :-)

moving to 1st position or 3rd position is not by choice.Every teams first objective is to qualify for qf.No team can choose their position at this stage. Probably in the last league match, a team can try to manipulate their position to avoid a particular opponent.Nothing wrong in that. Remember,among the top 6 teams the result in ODIs can go either way.
