however aggressive on the field...he is a coward who can not apologise directly to the journalist. he is unfit to be future captain. he will demoralise the team with his temperament. it is a lesson for journo. stop covering all nonsense about such cricketers. then who will listen ...kholi is bad model for indian children..let him focus on his job.
I find some of the comments here very funny. National interest, let team focus on world cup, conspiracy against India bla bla!!, all these defies logic.
There is enough evidence available in public domain to show that, Virat has publicly misbehaved, mistreated, abused and insulted a journalist and he should not only be censured but be punished for that.
Please understand that, Virat being a senior and in-form player does not give him license to misbehave and insult people. Basic sane and civilized behavior is expected from everyone and sports-stars are no exception to any rule or law.
Official complaint is already lodged with BCCI and ICC. Concerned journalist has a option of approaching Australian and Indian Law Enforcing Agencies as well.
When the world cup is going on none of the players whether indian or others should be censured. It will affect their performance. If virat kohli is really arrogant the his performance will speak for itself. See Ajinkya, Shikar Dhawan, who are quite cool and avoid media glare have become highly successful and they are responsible for the victory against a crucial match against South Africa

Come-on ! World Cup it is a right time to misbehave, abuse and cause insult but not the right time to censure & punish !! Funny !
Virat has to go a much long way & learn from Tendulkar & Saurav of how to behave with his colleagues & outside world . Such nasty incidents should be avoided & many bigger celebrities in past have paid for this heavily in the past
the media reporter should be punished for displaying utter disregard to national interests and keeping his ego above all. the reporter seems least bothered about what can be the negative outcomes of his act. he is worse than kohli given the fact that kohli has expressed regret but the reporter dosn't want to leave it so easy unless he does some harm to kohli or india's prospects at world cup, or may be benefit his pocket.

very much possible.he is targetting a crucial team member. foulplay cannot be ruled out. a small isuue is blown out of proportion and at a perfect timing. short tempered kohli is being USED here.
I personally feel it is not required. The press reporters are taking undue advantage of their position and interfering in every ones personal life. In fact the concerned news magazine has any credential then they should reprimand the concerned reporter and not to get involved any ones personal life. It is now becoming indecent.
when Media person have rights to write bad about a popular personality why cannot individual does the same thing?. Will media person can write bad about their family members?.
we all know to what extent the reporters can go to cook thier stories.but not at this point of time.i would rather term has cheap stunt by the media they can go to any extent of limit.why do they interfere in his personal life....if at all he dosent perform in the next matches, then the reporter would be held responsible and ofcousrse this time also the media...they should also be getting the beatings.
