Media in general and particularly in India it thrives on rumors innuendos and if neither is available they will create it.Otherwise they will cease to be relavent.

agree media is already sold here.. media tells only those stories for which it gets handsome money, other things r just ignored.. more importantly it (media) is controlled by politicians and highly influential babus in india
Indian cricket had always been a game of thrones....
Right since the times of Kapil and Gavaskar where I started understanding the game and what is written about it, there always was a rift in the dressing room.. there always were ones that follow someone and others that follow someone else... all motivated by single desire to keep their place in the team irrespective of their forms and cricketing abilities...
Ravi Shastry was a top player in this game and he has not lost his touch one bit after being out of team for over two decades.
However I don't blame the players one bit for what they are doing... it is their profession to earn a livelihood and why should it be different than any other people who are employees somewhere... don't they form groups, create fiefdoms and want to enjoy privileges irrespective of their performance on the job...
Media started baseless stories(as per shami)after BD won first two ODI, so before that there was unity. What was the result with that unity? It seems that shami is telling baseless stories now to support dhoni and to be in the team.
Just because of Indias fans still alive this game, I am remebring one incident, great Indian footballer IM Vijayan and Kerala cricket official was ther in TV program,IM Vijayam pointed out the problem we are facing in main stream game, Kerala cricket official (I don't know him but earning crores without any skill was insulting football and Vijayan, I felt really bad. anyway only crikcet that we must follow, no alternatve, officials wanna earn crores, we must support it.
