Cricket is not like Tennis. It is team game and Dhoni is really an amazing cricketer and talented guy. If India lose the game everybody will be in the shoulders of Dhoni. It is unfair. He knows how to behave in the ground. I feel after Master Blaster Sachin Dhoni is the best high disciplined Cricketer..

Rightly said. But he is paying the price now. It is apparent that young players are not willing to perform under him except CSK guys..
He should be asked to quit before his frustration lead to sacking of Yadav,Aron & Mohit from team.We have seen enough of 125 Km per hr medium pacers but Yadav is a different breed who can bowl 140 plus consistently.Let a more reasonable captain mentor our new found pacers & not the one who denounce them at every PC & drop catches as keeper regularly as was the case in England & Australia white wash

This is the main difference between Dada and Dhoni. Dada used to encourage bowlers even if they went for runs. That is why we got bowlers like Zaheer,Nehra,Agarkar,Harbhajan,Irfan etc. India won 2 world cups based on this bolwers performance and Dhoni took all credit. Dhoni might be be a good ODI player but he is never a inspiring captain.Mark my words when he retires Indian team will be out of talents because he is never interested in building up a future team..

forget encouraging bowlers even if they went for runs...he used to glare angrily and shout at them...i remember the time when he shouted at srinath who was so shocked with ganguly reaction...

ganguly made sehwag into opener but sehwag is saying that he preferred playing in middle order and would have been more successful in middle order than as an opener...laxman was another one who ganguly tried to turn into an opener...but laxman flatly refused saying give him another batting position or forget about him...

why did he lose nearly all the finals that india played under his captaincy and why he lost so many away series...like in sl nz wi and even losing a test in zim...of course winning series in aus eng and sa was always a pipe dream...

he knew only one thing....taking credit for any wins achieved under his captaincy because of his team mates and never being answerable to any losses india suffered under his captaincy....

Sunil don't get angry man. I agree Dada/Sachin/Dravid etc. did not do anything for team India. But at least we did not lose series to minnows like BD at their time. And do I need to remember you about 8-0 humiliation??

Sehwag is our 2nd best opener after Sunil Gavaskar. Shows Dada's vision. What about Rohit who is unsuccessfully made opener by Dhobiji??

while rohit sharma has been a stupendous success as an opener...dhoni made him an opener and as a opener his record is even better than sachin...rohit sharma in 4 of the last 5 years has been scoring at 50 plus average in odis...as an opener rohit has played 50 odd odis scoring 2250 runs at average of 50 plus with 5 100s and 13 50s...

and it is good that you remember sachin dravid laxman zaheer bhajji etc humiliation of 8-0...all ganguly's gift to team india...because of which we went down in icc ranking....now that those defeats are not counted we are back at no. 3

Dhoni is better known as a CSK Cap who made Team CSK as Team India by including third graded players, better known as a fixer, record of 0-8 test defeat,record of 1-2 against BD. Without Srini he is nothing and has no quality to became India Cap. What trophies India won during his Cap due to his luck and performance of other players, not his performance.A shrewd, politician who played for his records and AVG, destroy some good players like Gauti, Sehwag, Yuvi,Tiwari,Vajji etc. Never encourage players or done any planning, stayed cool bcoz a fool.

So, Gavaskar feels till now dhoni is not encouraging bowlers. This can be true, as a former player and related to Indian CKT he knows more than other common people or media. But if it is true then it is shocking as dhoni is not doing his job, wrong team selection,no meeting,no planning,no inspiration,wrong batting order(as dhawan told) and the result is known to everyone. What India is winning due to luck or some personal performance.
