1.      With sachin in 90s India was only 5th best team in the world. There were no significant victories for india except in India where Anil Kumble’s heroics won the matches for India
2.      Until 90s commercial aspect of cricket was very low and just when sachin made his debut commercials increased and sachin benefited out of this immensely as he was made popular by the Media and Corporates for their benefit.
3.      Thanks to the Indian team of early and mid 80s, cricket became popular in India and Sachin became the beneficiary of this.
4.      The other greats of India such as Dravid, Sehwag , youvraj and laxman who produced quality knocks to the Indian side arrived late in the scene by which time popularity was already stolen by this Tendu who throughout 90s got knocks that ended in losing cause but did not deter his popularity, in fact increased his popularity.
5.      He got special treatment because he is from Mumbai. He got selected at that age because he is from Mumbai. He was never dropped from the team even when he was not performing for prolonged periods because he is from Mumbai. His career prolonged because he is from Mumbai. He got proper send off because he is from Mumbai. Got special treatment from everybody because he is from Mumbai. Made popular because he is from Mumbai. Considered to be the greatest player because he is from Mumbai.
6.      Steve Waugh famously quoted, Indians are happy if sachin gets a hundred and the team loses.
(A sarcastic comment on the Indian People)

9.      Most of india’s victories were caused by players such as Sehwag, Laxman, Yuvraj , Bhajji and kumble who played their cricket selflessly and got rejected by the people of this country and BCCI when it came to being recognized.
10.      Whenever Sachin was the best player in the match, the Indian team would invariably lose.
11.      Over a period of 24 years of cricket, his only good knocks were that 98 against Pakistan and that double hundred against SA.
12.      His run rate never reflected the team’s requirement and his Test match knocks were agonizingly slow. He did not possess the ability to play according to the situation.
13.      Miserably failed as a captain
14.      Sachin selfishly always took the best place in the team, no. 4 in tests and opener’s place in the team despite the presence of better players in the team at various times.
15.      His huge no. of runs is like Dry Leaves which do not have any weight.
16.      Begged his colleagues to win the world cup for him as he could not win one. Imagine a great player begging others to win a world cup for him.
17.      Got special treatment from BCCI and selectors throughout his career.
18.      Had wrong priorities in cricket. First his knocks even at the cost of the team to please his advertisers and average Indian cricket fans( who are huge in No.s) and then team

19.      Funds his fans to support him. He pays money to his fans (close fans) to support him.
20.      Sachin never possessed the abilities of a great sports person. True he was blessed with some ability .He however neither had the spirit of Maradona, nor the commanding power of Viv Richards, nor the shot making ability of Sehwag or for that matter any quality of a ture champion.
21.      Sachin has been constantly seen over defending when reaching a land mark such as a hundred. Great players cannot possess these kinds of cheap attitudes as great players are decided on the basis of their attitude. Yes that’s right, great players are differentiated by their attitude
22.      Constantly Succumbed under pressure. Whenever faced with a run rate of 5.5 and above, he struggled; facing quality oppositions, quality bowling attacks, he struggled.
23.      Whenever, sachin is the best player in the team, the team would invariably loose except in those cases when bowlers perform out of their skin or other batmen get some match changing knocks.
24.      Sachin is a pampered and spoiled player.
25.      Popularity cannot be the standard to analyze anybody’s greatness as criminals, terrorists; underworld dons too are popular in their circles, groups and countries.
26.      It is widely argued that, 50 out of sachin’s hundreds 100s, have resulted in victories. If we analyze all those 50 matches, we can make out that Sachin was not the match winner in those matches. Real match winners were other players. For

28.      Team games are unjust too in giving credit. For instance, in Football, strikers take all the credit and defenders do not get any credit. In cricket, batmen take more credit than the bowlers. The reality is different. Two teams that dominated the cricket world, West Indies and Australia respectively, were great teams because of their bowling. Anil Kumble who is the greatest match winner in Indian cricket takes a back seat in popularity and acknowledgement. Who deserves more respect a match winner or a player who just gets some lousy knocks?
29.      Sachin did not deserve a place in the team on merit atleast after 2004 in one day matches and from 2008 in test team. However corporates who have huge investments on Sachin, made sure Sachin remained in the team for their investment recovery.
30.      Prolonged his retirement until he started stinking.
31.      If a lie is repeated multiple times, it is perceived to be true. It holds good for Sachin as Sachin being recognized to be the greatest player is a blatant lie and repeated many a times by his fans, and media persons to stamp it in the minds of people.
32.      Has been a hurdle to the youngsters in the team.He got Bharat Ratna because he is from Mumbai and his false popularity.
I can give 100 more reasons but I stop here. The bottom line is that the false popularity and falsehood of Sachin is exposed.

Just chill buddy .. no need to get emotional .."If a lie is repeated multiple times, it is perceived to be true.." .That may not be correct. The truth will remain always truth and it will not depend on individual perceptions. So even if you right another 68 reasons he will still remain the greatest player ever represented India. Now that you have taken out your frustration enjoy the game. Have fun..
