Dressing room comments

Really I am at loss to understand why this type of news is coming. Who is unhappy with Dhoni? If this information is available they can make it public so that BCCI can take corrective steps. Why Dhoni has said that he is ready to step down, it is only to avoid criticism. He voluntarily come out with the statement so that he can be ready to play as a player not necessarily as captain. It is nice to hear from him. Dhoni is still fit for one day matches and he is not planning for retirement at this stage. If he is asked to make a way to another person as captain he can continue to play as a player

Dhoni always has problem with Dressing room environments with
1.) Ganguly and laxman
2.) Then Sehwag and Gambhir
3.) then Yuvraj and Harbhajan and zahir
4.) Now Kholi and ravishastri

Basically anyone who can play better than Dhoni, Dhoni had problem with him. I request BCCI to give dhoni a separate Dressing room so that he come up with the genuine execuse

Sack Shastri & Send a Message to the Non-performing Arrogant
by Dipankar Chakraborty on Jun 23, 2015 04:55 PM

Chuck off Ravi Shastri, NOW, for polluting the Indian dressing room atmosphere by way of antagonizing the young Indian players against MSD and shamelessly promoting himself as the next coach of the Indian cricket team. Though, how much the dirty politician will be able to deliver in that role - is anybody's guess !

Chuck him off immediately, before he does more harm to the Indian team.

Everything else can wait !

...And yes, it's also necessary to send a very strong message to Virat Kohli, that nobody is indispensable in the team. Besides, going by his erratic performance and behaviour, he has to go a long long way to be worthy of captaincy, if at all.

And that, whether he will flirt with some one or ruin his career by joining Ravi Shastri's team of politicians - is entirely his choice. But the Indian cricket fans won't allow him to use either the cricket ground or the dressing room for that.

Did any one noticed Kohli playing a free hit ball defensively. That speaks the groupism in the team.

I quite agree with you.

This was probably a message to the 'ushole'. You make me the captain, I'll help you become the coach with statements like - 'The atmosphere of the dressing room has been filled up with positivity after Shastri took over'.

Remember the statements ? Just before the Bangladesh tour ?

THE CAPTAINCY ISSUE

The Media and the support staff always have this dubious way . Dhoni is also to be blamed because on some reason he took leaf out of Greg chappell in removing seasoned players and trimming their careers. As an ardent cricket lover forgetting what Dhoni did i would recommend him to continue and march ahead with his performance . silence the critics. Virat still have to learn the nuances much more. we must not be carried over with short term success. If virat is pressured and his form is affected immediately media people will try to find and an another person
