Mysterious......

Indians have lost while chasing as well as while batting first. Be it in batting or in bowling they appeared below par in either of the situations. Are they really that bad? Would they have gone upto SF level in the World Cup on bouncy wickets like the Oz wickets if they are that bad?

I am sure all is not well with the team at present. While BD batsmen can always find the gaps, Indian batters always found fielders with their strokes. Why weren't they able to play bowlers bowling at 120-130 KMPH pace? And this is a sub continent wicket only.

And the way Mahi hit back with his offer to quit. Unfortunately, for the readers also, one loss makes him the Devil. Be it in the WC or in the IPL. Till the time, they were winning in the WC every member of the team was praised for their performance, Mahi is a captain cool and all that. They loose to Australia in the SF, he becomes the villain. Same in the case of IPL too. CSK is always the team to beat, for the Media. When they lost the Finals, our analysts start tearing the team in to pieces.

There is more than what meets the eye. I think the Board should look into this aspect rather than getting into avoidable discussions. Couple of decades ago, Sri Lanka used to be minnows. Suddenly, they started beating every team to become a team to reckon with. Looks like it's the turn of Bangla Desh now. Who knows, in the next few years it may be the turn of a team like Afganisthan so that they are pushed into the higher level of cricket.

India's Performance

MSD is not the only one responsible for india's loss. He is a very good captain. Entire team has failed.Everyone is taking their place for granted except for dhoni. Especially rohit sharma virat kohli they are already behaving like world cup winning stars.
But actually they are found wanting during critical period. these players cannot be trusted. It is better to get rid of these players and try other players who can reveal under crisis.

A right decision at the right time

Dhoni's proposal is a huge slap on the face of BCCI and its selection team for continuing with Shastri by creating a superfluous position for giving him employment. Ever since he has taken over he has created rift within the team, thereby, demoralising each member so much so that individual's performance has reduced to its lowest ebb. Dhoni does not have to prove his credentials - his accomplishments are so huge that Shastri must be failing to count. To remove Dhoni from captain-ship will further demoralise the team.

msd should be immidiately sacked. yesterday he gave a very irresponsible, callous reply to the black bangladesh anchor after the match that he takes the third ODI lightly for it doesn't matter whether it is 2-1 or 3-0. he should have rather replied that he will put up a better fight and win the third ODI. the anchor was asking about the bangladesh performance and instead of appreciating them he kept on harping nonsense that the team lost wickets at regular intervals and so on.

MSD the Captain

We respect MSD for the way he has led the Indian Team in last 8 years. If the batsmen and bolwers dont perform to their potential what can a
Captain do.He cannot take the horses to the water and make them drink.

all these cricketers have the support from public and media, Hence he will continue as captain for next few years as long he wishes to be there till he becomes another liabilities. Board should be allowed to function independently without policitics, media and public interferences. For Dhoni Its right time to leave cricket. THe way he batted is like Yuvi during finals against srilanka. Good luck to dhoni.
