Well done Bangladesh!

Without dissecting too much into Team India's loss to Bangaldesh.I believe it is good for the game if many more teams become competitive at the highest level.

Dhoni's fans should be ashmed
by Guru RamRahimDsuza on Jun 19, 2015 01:35 PM

According to Dhoni's fans

India Won WC 2007- Entire credit goes to Dhoni

India Won WC 2011-Entire credit goes to Dhoni

India Won Champions trophy 2013- Entire credit goes to Dhoni

BUT

When India lost 8-0 in test matches abroad- Dhoni had no responsibility

When India were crushed by Australia in WC 2015-Dhoni had no responsibility

Now the latest father in his cap (i.e. loss to minnow BD)-Dhoni is not responsible

Grow up guys (like Sunil,Shilpa etc). Dhoni's day are over...

rookie paceman stuns India
by M IYER on Jun 19, 2015 11:43 AM

The same old story! introduce 2-3 new "ffffffaaaast" bowlers on tour and our so called greats will bow down. None can challenge this allegation as history speaks for itself. And by the time the media banging back home urges them to come to terms with the challenge a the short series is over. Then, comes a series against Sri Lanka or a T-20 series and everything is forgotten. Their weakness against pace remains.

Rookie "Paceman" stuns India
by M IYER on Jun 19, 2015 11:39 AM

Same-to-same\"....the ad tagline appropriate with India. On a tour, even if a spinner is labelled as a \"very fast bowler\", Indian Batsmen falter. The same old story! If you want to win against India, bring on 2-3 new pacemen in the tour, rest of the \'good\' bowlers can relax.

murali vijay, dhawan, rohit, kohli, pujara rahane rayudu lokesh rahul ashwin jadeja shami bhuvi axar patel raina yadav mohit sharma ishant ojha mishra sreesanth rp singh chawla and many more.....dhoni gave chances to many players because of their attitude talent potential .....of course not everybody will remain in the team because of injuries, or loss of form or better replacements etc...all players that dhoni took in his team in any formats was because they were good talented and having potential...not because whether they were his friends or not....

dhoni has built a great team from scratch and it is going to be around for a long time....kohli or whoever else may be the captain they are going to taste the fruits of the garden built by dhoni....already kohli in his short stint as captain in 2 tests in aus has 1 loss and 1 draw (if he had inherited the team supposedly created by ganguly it would have been a bad 2 defeats for him) and also in odi...17 odis so far as a captain with 14 wins and 3 losses! thanks to the team built by dhoni...."
You have always told that ganguly faced Bangladesh more than Dhoni so he had a weaker opponent. Now this weaker opponent beat Dhoni and his team . What you will say now.

and it is not untrue that all ganguly's away aura has been because of the 7 tests he played against bd and zim out of which he won 6 and lost 1...

like i said out of ganguly's 28 away tests only 10 were against aus eng and sa while 7 were against zim and bd...while dhoni in his 30 away tests played against bd and zim only one test and 19 tests against sa eng and aus...

if the opposite had happened ...if ganguly had played only 1 test against zim and bd and 19 out of 30 against sa eng and aus his away record would have looked as bad as dhoni's away record...

and if dhoni had played against zim and bd in 7 tests and in 10 against aus eng and sa like ganguly his away record too would have looked as good as ganguly's away record

You can not prove the day as night,Sunil. Whole ckt world know away test cap. weakness and record of dhoni even against fast and bouncy pitches. It was also shameful that after 0-7 lose he did not resign. When team win he and you people credit him only and when team lose he and you people blame the team. Shameful.

Dhoni is one of the greats no doubt. But our weakness against pace ruins our reputation especially abroad. Sharm ki baat hei yaar! Bangladesh, on a spinning track, on a very slow pitch, where our fast bowlers got slaughtered...being bludgeoned by their paceman that too a novice/inexperienced one?! Kab hum sudhrenge???
