Shikhar can only score in T20/ODI or on sub continent pitches.His lack of footwork & poor defence will always be a problem in Down under & UK/SA.
It'll take sometime for Dhawan to reach even 30% of Viru's capability. Viru was one of India's true geniuses with a strike rate far in excess of even Bradman and 8000 runs to his name. In sheer genius he is well above the Sachins, Laxmans and Dravids, but this has rarely been acknowledged and Viru has himself kept a dignified silence after fading away.
