Although B'desh is playing well and cannot be taken lightly but a 2-Test series should have been more appropriate for the talented B’deshis side to make the fight even. Regarding the Indian combination I think we can afford to play 6bat-5bowl combo against a lesser side not as formidable as Aus, SA etc. There could be temptation to play Rohit ahead of Pujara but I personally feel Rohit is not meant for Test mold and so Pujara must be persisted with in Test mode on long term basis. Coming to bowling, 3 pacers 2spinners looks to be ideal combo. Karan Sharma has not been bowling well and is lucky to have been picked ahead of Y/Chahal. Anyway there cannot be a better opportunity than this not just to test the Bhajji -Ashwin bowling in tandem but also test them from competitive angle. Bhajji is more experienced and supposed to be a world class spinner with over 400 Test wickets but lost his place due to poor form and performance. Now that he is back mainly on the basis of his IPL T20 performance and backing of his influential mentor Saurav Ganguly close to Dalmia, Bhajji certainly is one of the most talked about player of the tour. So Bhajji will have to come good against high level of expectations. He has to walk the talk now. He couldn’t have asked for better opportunity than a B’desh tour. Although one Test is too short an opportunity but with a relatively younger Ashwin also in the loop it will also be a good opportunity for ‘one to one’ te

(contd.)..for ‘one to one’ test indeed. Given that Ashwin’s record overseas has not been very impressive the Bhajji-Ashwin duel becomes all the more interesting. It will also be test of Kohli’s Test captaincy. His aggressive personality and his capacity to successfully internalize the transition from Dhoni era will be under scrutiny for sure. Last but not the least for Pujara a lot is at stake.

I think you watched test series in SA, AUS .. In AUs he scored 1 century and 2 90 . and some 50 ..His play in SA is phenominal, where every others were struggling..
In the absence of K.L.Rahul, it is better that Pujara is included in the playing line. Being back from the county league, it will be an opportunity for him to get back to form.
