Mr.Shastri has done a commendable Job with TEAM INDIA .He deserves a longer term to mold the team for future and also to pass the Captaincy Barton smoothly from Dhoni to Virat. His deep understanding of Game & Man Management skills will be very useful for the team.
i have been following cricket from 1965 and i have seen many captains. Among those players who did not become India captains Ravi Shastry and Ashok Mankad were really good captain Material. They should continue with shastry as full fledged coach. He will do a commendable job

ashok mankad was a good captain for Mumbai, but could not perform well enough for India (as a player)
