Chandra, Sanga & Jaya also don't get their due respect. Kallis gets some respect but not as much adulation. To me Kallis and Sanga are greater for they not only scored but Kallis as all rounder had to bowl a lot and Sanga has to keep wickets. They don't get the respect Sachin, Lara and Ponting get.
SEHWAG knocks are match winning for India it is pity that due to presence of SACHIN RECORD TENDULKAR the contribution of SEHAWAG is not recognised by history of test cricket sir

very true pravin. sehwag is one of the best batsmen india has seen. india would have won this world cup if he was in our team.

if sehwag was in the 2015 wc team we would have lost many matches....it was because he was not in the team and shikhar and rohit were there that we won 7 away (in aus!) odis on a trot!

well said,Sehwag played to win, unlije others who played ob for records.
Even Sehwag may not want him to be compared with Tendulkar and Lara. He has scored 2 triple hundreds and another one in 290's with a test strike rate of almost 100. He has not played for records. He has done exceedingly well in ODI's also. If any one sees the statistics, his record almost matches with Viv Richards. But unfortunately he has not given his due.

Sehwag is that player who did not expect any contribution from other players. Dhoni can\'t be compared to him. Dhoni capitalised others\' good performances despite his dead form for the past 7 years.

Forget Sehwag, I find McGrath better than ANY bowler in the last 20-30 yrs of intn'l cricket; steyn also cannot match his intelligence, consistency and accuracy with his variations of deliveries. Even in IPL, he was performing much better than any indian or foreign bowler. But the organizers did not give him sufficient overs anytime, else it would've been a one-man show again.
Hats off to the legend, McGrath - Hope someone can learn or come near him anytime.

SEHAWG best test bowling was 5 wickets in dead pitch at 2008 BANGALORE test against AUSTRALIA every cricket star has ability to perform all rounder like this only wise CAPTAIN like MSD is missing sir
