Onlt trick can save you...dohni baba is gone
by Avanti bufa on Jul 31, 2015 08:07 AM  | Hide replies

All talented payers were dropped, and all pet ones were enjoying chances for pretty long time.....may good sense prevail...and let these losers of WC give way for the talented (Sr. or new)to play.
If dhoni can become Cptn ans try to be wonderful(enjoyed hard work of Sourav)then there are many who can be more luckky that him.
Raina ji should say...JAI DHONI BABA KI

Highly Over-rated
by Hindustani on Jul 29, 2015 07:50 PM

Rohit Sharma is very highly over-rated cricketer. People have over-hyped him always, but the truth is that he is never a consistent batsman and he somehow still manages to secure his place in the team despite the repetitive failures, this is because once in a while he scores one century or some 200 runs. But after that he again fails in consecutive 5-6 innings scoring nothing and this has been a trend with him. Whenever India bats second and chasing a target, he never scores the runs. He hardly scores runs when there is desperate need for somebody to stay on the crease or score the runs. He always through his wicket carelessly without assessing the match situation. He had been given enough chances to prove his position but like Jadeja he also needs to show the door. Nobody from the side should take his position for granted. Consistency is must, how much talented you proclaim to be.

rohit, you have been successful in odis and t20...and i am sure soon you will be successful in tests too...

dont forget before you vvs had gone through the same thing as you....his test record during his first 3-4 years in international cricket was no different than yours...but still he was persevered for his ''talent'' just like you...and see what he became...there is no reason why you too cannot do the same...

In fact it is the opposite....kohli is more in favor of rohit than pujara....

in the 3 tests that kohli has captained so far he seems bent on dropping pujara for other players...they may be rohit or raina or whoever....

in fact in the 4th test when dhoni had retired versus aus...kohli took rohit and raina in the playing XI! not pujara!

people like to blame dhoni saying how he takes his ''chamchas'' rohit and raina constantly...but rohit was captain when both of these played the test against aus! what have you got to say about that?

You think the approach of Kohlis 3 tests will be same even if Rohit fails repeatedly? I request you to read my messages properly before giving knee jerk reactions, I am speaking about the future and you are referring to the past, that too 3 tests!

why do you think that if msd was captain rohit would not have had to work harder? any reason for that?

during msd time too rohit was not an automatic selection in the playing eleven...

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Yes

in fact though rohit was a sure selection in limited formats game under dhoni...in tests others like vijay, dhawan, pujara, rahane got preference for test side not rohit...

rohit was never an automatic selection in tests during dhoni time and if dhoni was still captain rohit still would have to work harder...as unlike kohli msd would surely have given pujara the preference in tests...

and as for playing with 5 bowlers dhoni out of his last 11 away tests (in SA, NZ, Eng and Aus) chose to go with 5 bowlers in 4 tests....

while kohli for all his 5 bowlers theory has so far in his 3 tests played with 5 bowlers in only 1 test...

though of course, i think his 5 bowler theory will not last for long once he understands the drawbacks of playing with only 5 batsmen...

It is only that Kohli may not be so much FOR giving long ropes, at least that is the feeling non-Dhoni fans get. If you want to judge Kohlis support for Rohit based on 3 tests I dont have much to say.
