WHY WE ARE GETTING BACK INSTEAD OF GOING FORWARD? Why Harbhajan?, why Mishra? Why not Yuzwendra Chahal? Why not Karn Sharma?, Why selection committee don't trust youngsters? Srilankan Soil is not like Australia or South Africa. Conditions are quite similar to us, and their team is also not that strong as it used to be so selection committee should have opted for youngsters instead of the old players.
Its pity , the Players like Vinaykumar, Mithun, S Arvind, Gopal and Stuart Binny are unlucky to miss the bus, in spite of theier brilliant performance in Domestic Tournaments - Raaaaanji, Irani etc

Please don't tell us to inculde Vinay Kumar. Even our under 19 bowlers are better than this domestic hero..Except Gopal no ones deserves a chance in TEst team
I think Indian team selection body has choosen a very weak team for coming Test Serie against srilanka. I am very much surprised that experience players like Zaheer khan & Gautam Gambhir & left hand spinner Pragyan Ohjha are not considered for the test series . According to me following 15 players should be in the test squad:
Test Squad: Gautam Gambir [Captain] Virat Kohli (vice Captain), Murali Vijay, KL Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane,Umuk chand Wriddhiman Saha (wk),Parthiv Patel [WK], Harbhajan Singh, Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Zaheer Khan, Amit Mishra, Pragyan Ohjha.

you should know that this is not a veterans team..so naturally gambhir, zaheer & VEERU were not considered..

Gautam Gambhir is not a Test Player. Not know hot to play defensive. And Zahir Khan is not fully fit due to over age. (Yes Instead of Harbhajan they neet to select Axar Patel).
Instead of Harbhajan singh selectors should have picked Axar patel. We have given enough chances to Harbhajan singh.Axar also performed well recently and he can bat also. This is the time to test youngsters and not veterans.

it is delhi team....dhawan virat mishra etc....i suppose delhi guys like amarnath will also want sehwag gambhir and all dehli team...

amarnath had tried it before trying to drop dhoni from team as a captain and also as a player and fill the team with delhi players...he had failed at that time...

...and yes dhoni had an issue with kumble so he dropped kumble and included mishra in his team...then he had an issue with mishra and took ojha in his team then he had an issue with ojha and took ashiwn in his team...he also took jadeja in his team etc. etc...
mishra played 11 of his 13 tests till date under dhoni out of which india won 6 and lost 3.
ojha replaced mishra and under dhoni ojha played all his 24 tests till date out of which india won 16 and lost 3.
ashwin replaced ojha and out of the 22 tests that he played under dhoni india won 11 and lost 7.
and also jadeja who made his debut against aus under dhoni helped in whitewashing aus 4-0 in his debut series taking 27 wickets in the 4 tests and clarke's wicket 5 times in that series...
