Dont say IPL is cricket. It is commercial cricket and should be labelled as such Separate business from game.

Rajiv Shukla, IPL Chairman
by Pradip Shah on Jul 21, 2015 09:45 AM  | Hide replies

Why media give undue importance to a person like Rajiv Shukla, Chairman of IPL who has never played any competitive cricket and may be not knowing how to hold cricket bat properly. These are all opportunists and political appointees who dont deserve to play with the administration and careers of young cricketers.

Shukla the one no. MC has ever played ' 'gilly-danda' in his life. Such types of money-makers are now bossing the Indian cricket.

The least this GC could have done was to declare the two banned persons as persona nongrata and also IPL/BCCI will not any link with them or their group, for having tarnished its reputation. That declaration need not take 6 weeks to make;otherwise,it is very simple to see that all these officials/players in the commitee are least interested in Cricket's Reputation.Sadly,no one can stand up and speak without fear of retaliation which may be moneywise and otherwise catastrophic for that one.

Cricket BCCI needs a thorough clean up
by joe britto on Jul 21, 2015 03:06 AM

The BCCI is in need of a urgent clean up. Its time for cricketers to run it and all politicians to get away from it asap. The fans are tired and dont mind if there is no IPL for a while as they have been fooled for quite a while .
