who's d's Shukla? had he ever played 'gilli-danda'?he is one of many corrupted politicians of our unfortunate country now controlling IPL & he replaces Lalit Modi. So how can we expect IPL now to be played fairly? Hon'ble Supreme Court may verdict the cricket must be controlled by only ex-cricketers with clean image and above all this IPL-tamasha must be stopped at any cost.

There is not one word about making IPL 'clean' only that it will be ‘bigger success’! Look at the mentality of this politician turned cricket administrator! Now this brainwave of BCCI running the two teams coming after all the IPL muck that has come out by itself reflects the typical mindset that they are not averse to any change for better. It is shocking to hear from him there will be no conflict of interest if BCCI runs the two teams! Given that BCCI is the owner of IPL then how is that if BCCI runs it through some cricket administrators there will be no conflict of interest? All the IPL rules are framed by its GC members and they will be administering it then won't they be taking special interest for their BCCI teams? How can he say there is no conflict of interest? Then why was Srini as BCCI president wrong in owning CSK ? In what way Mr Shukla or any other BCCI official different from Srini ? Do they realize that Srinivasan must be the most relieved man today the way he got off lightly ? In any other developed country Srini would have been in much more trouble! Same Srini mentally or should we say typical BCCI mentality Mr Shukla is reflecting ! Why is Mr Shukla not talking of RTI for IPL to make it clean ? Anyway the Lodha committee is to come up with recommendations in the next 4 months for reforms in BCCI structurally and system wise to bring in transparency and accountability. Don’t be surprised if Mr Shukla & co. start running for cov
