Looking at the performance in the tri series the final 15 selected seems to be questionable. The batting looks fragile and out of sorts. Our best bowlers seem to be Stuart Binny and Mohit Sharma. probably Murali Vijay should have got a look in considering his performances in the test series and he could have opened with Rahane. Mohit sharma could have been chosen in place of either Ishant or Yadav. In the spin department Amit Mishra should have got in the playing 11 as he has an ability to take wickets and is a useful contributor with the bat, Ashwin does not seem to be a threat while bowling and Axar is unable to contribute with the bat. Perhaps Virat could have been made captain as Dhoni has failed with the bat, and with him standing behind the stumps is unable to inspire and guide his bowlers. He could have been of better use as wicket keeper coming in at 1 or 2 down and staying till the 50th over
Even if we lose to Pakistan in the opener, and lose to all the test-playing nations in the group we will definitely make it to quarter-finals! And who knows from there! But that is hardly the issue here. India has not fielded its best bowling by half. Zaheer, Munaf, Irfan & Yusuf Pathan should all been here in place of Binny, Ishant, Aaron, and Axar.

Yes, and I guess people missed out some more here... Kapil Dev, Gavri, Prabhakar, Chetan Sharma, Srinath and Prasad should have also been there in the team

And without Binny and Madanlal, the bowling department is incomplete as they were part of WC winning team as well

And I'm talking only of India's bowling here..Please accept that Yuvraj is a better batting all-rounder than Jadeja, and Irfan a better bowling all-rounder than Binny..
writing your opinions in this forum is needed only for the passion of the cricket lover.The Team neither respects the passion and support of the fans nor is serious about retaining the Cup.Now there will be another retirement from Onedayers to concentrate on next T20 and everything will follow as a ritual till 2016 Cup.Anyone owing up poor form and making way for another eligible confident player,will only uplift the true sporting spirit in this gloomy setting ;and since their BIGBOSS has not shown that character,it will not be coming from these players.Anyway,another good world cup will be played by rest of the Teams.
i am witness of a no. of programmes TV when all gentlemen criticized sachin for his relatively bad performances in finals. now we have no sachin in the team and even near the venues. what happened now? my only request is to avoid critisizing our performers. same thing we did in case of manmohan singh, kejriwal or nitish kumar. should we pay for that or not?

Neither Team India or BCCI are bothered about India's Cricket Fans and they just want to overcrowd the stadium and sell Te1ecast and Advertising Copy rights only to the Highest Bidders - For them Performance and Accountability is not the criteria, only Money is the criteria.

YES, great trailer of coming world cup as India pushed out from tri series. I can bet for sure that India can't reach in quarter final of WC. Now seeing India playing cricket is truly an eye sore. It is moving in same direction as Indian hockey. Only difference is Indian cricketers and sitting duck officials has churned much money at the cost of game.
