This is the expected result. When Patil & co announced the team for WC, we knew the result on that day itself. Poor team selection, Poor supporting staffs (especially Bowling coach) then what do we can expect. There were no players who have performed in Aus conditions in the team. Enjoy the Australian wonders team...

agreed that the selection was bad may one or two players but rest is the best available talent which is very poor particularly in Aussie conditions. does anyone harbor even a semblance of hope, too wishful thinking

If BCCI still have the option of selecting the squad of WC, they need to drop Shikar Dhawan and either consider Yuvraj singh (all rounder) or Robil Uthappa
Oz Team looks a sure shot team to be kicked out of the quarter final. Chappel, as his family had always, is giving words of wisdom which does not even work for UAE cricket team, leave alone India. Oz have to make sure they are tested in all conditions and instead of focusing on Indian team, they should focus on themsElves.
how can you expect the Indian team to win when they are only focused on themselves. Team 1 -> Dhoni, Raina, Umesh, Jadeja, Kumar, .. Team 2 -> Kohli, Ishant, Shikhar, Rohit Appear Neutral: Rahane, Ashwin, Rayudu, Shami, Patel...

200% agree! This fellow is a luggage to Team India and nothing else. He is busy doing advt, dont understand how is so shameless!
Only selection to be blamed as they did as if a club levels team as of nown its too late. Even a player like Rahne has failed in Odi.Average 28 on what basis team was selected. God knows..

Average 28 does not mean he will only score 28. Binny's average was 5 and he scored a fifty. You do not get a 50-60 average like Sachin all the time.
