The availability of a new ball at the start of 25 overs to teams makes the problem of Indian team doubly difficult.Firstly they dont have a good new ball bowler to ball in good areas consistently/take wickets.Now the Indian batsmen will have to negotiate the new ball twice in an innings on the bouncy and fast pitches of Australia/New Zealand against the likes of Johnson,Steyn,Marsh.Better to have Vijay,Rahane as openers.And ask Rohit to come after the fall of a wicket after 25 overs when the second new ball is taken.I personally dont think that this Indian team can win against Australia,South Aftrica,England,Pakistan in this World Cup.So sleep nicely and avoid getting up early to watch World Cup matches. Forget bowlers I dont have much expectations from Indian batsmen besides Rahane,Kohli,Raina.
Ishant Sharma is a total waste and should be removed. He is definitely not worth being called a spearhead. Being called a blunt spearhead may be ok. The lack of aggression in his bowling is made up by his frustrated verbal spats on feild with opponent players.
My suggestion will be o play Binny as opener. He will not do worse than Dhawan is doing. Plus he can bowl. So Dhoni will have another bowling option too... What say friends??

Dhoni himself has to be removed. He plays one day like test match. Naman or Sanju should fill his place

We kept asking for Dravid to be removed- nothing changed with the team after his removal. We asked for VVS to be removed, then we asked for Sachin to go. Then we asked Shewag to go. Nothing changed. Now we are asking Dhoni to be removed. He moved out of Test.. nothing changed. The fact is nothing will change unless our bowlers learnn. No captain can help. no body can help these bunch unless they learn to bowl in one spot. Dont ask for people to go and removed. Ask for them to play and do the job they are expected to do.
I have least hopes of our team coming anyway close to quarter finals in WC as the bowling dept is very very weak.No team can win matches with this kind of a namesake bowler set up

Indian will reach at least semis. ICC will ensure that. Otherwise great financial loss like 2007 will hurt sponsors..

This team is as good as over.Planning for drawing in fresh players after the World Cup disaster should begin-Players like Naman Ojha,Manoj Tiwari,Robin Uthhapa,Bumrah,Kuldeep Yadav who have played against the likes of Fulkner and Marsh and scored a lot better in Australia A Vs India A matches in same conditions should be given a long rope.
Ind Batsman when punish other bowlers we are all happy. some time they conceive more than 8 runs per over dont have problem. But the main things exposed our batsman inconsistent/inability perform overseas condition
People were crying for Indian coaches for better show. Team has Indian coaches but the result is very very poor. Pls dont argue that it is only the bowlers responsibility in the field. If the bowlers dont bowl well on 2 matches, what the coach and the management are doing? There is no fear with the team that even if they lose nothing happens. Politics is another way of fixing. Half of the current squad will not feature if India wants to retain the World cup Champions tag.
brains to learn. From they way they have bowled, it is clear that Ishant, Sami and Varun don't have the brains to learn or the ability to adopt to dynamics of ODIs.
