In 2011 people said that this wc team was not well balanced....many predicted their getting knocked out in the first round itself...

''prof'' dino jones claimed that india have no chance whatsoever to win the wc because their bowling is weak...we went on to win the wc nevertheless...

this time ''prof'' dino jones once again claims that india has no chance whatsoever but this time his reasons are the opposite of the last time...he says this time the indian batting is very weak...well lets see...

Bowling at WC
by Most Intelligent Man on Jan 15, 2015 12:55 PM  | Hide replies

Its not about having world class bowlers its about working as a team to minimize damage while bowling. For e.g. South Africa have the strongest bowling line up for years. But many ICC tournaments have they won??

simple bcos they dont have the killer instinct like aussies to win 3 wc at a row, only jelaousfellows with blabal stories will keep burningl0l and hard way of playing cricket like aussies all these years, though sa r the most consistent team all these years after invincible aussies era.they have been the best in last 3 years or so.deft nt the fakechampl0l.

decision made
by veerapuram dharan on Jan 15, 2015 11:30 AM

a decision has been made to select the team and the team is already selected. no ifs and buts at this point of time. whether we win or lose, we are going to do it as a team. team spirit is the motto. common guys, go and rock. dont get bogged down by reputations of the opposition and dont get complacent..forget about playing well in patches, you should play well for the entire 100 overs..take inspiration from the champions trophy triumph which you did when most of you all were inexperienced..

few big hitters
by Dev on Jan 15, 2015 10:58 AM  | Hide replies

compared to some teams, india has less big hiTTers.
oz has very good hiTTers.also sa,even england.
rahane not big hiTter, kohli also.not rayudu not zadeja.
all depend on raina and dhoni really if opener fails.
always i seen in 40 to 50 over situation, somebody has to HIT..not wait till 45 or 47th over especially with 5-6 wickets in hand

Anderson has done well in India also during their last tour,he is a swing bowler and can do reverse swing with the old ball,so he can be handful on any surface. He has failed only in OZ.

India can win
by Vinod Kalra on Jan 15, 2015 10:20 AM  | Hide replies

The bowling of Indian team was not strong even in 2011. I still remember the comment of Dean Jones after India tied to England in 2011 as "With this bowling attack Indian is day dreaming to win the world cup".But India still went to win the world cup. So dont worry about bowling too much, we have strongest of batting lineup.

it is almost balanced..
by Dev on Jan 15, 2015 10:17 AM  | Hide replies

only yuvrajs shoes to fill.but now rohit, dhawan, kohli have more experience.
munaf patel was terrible. yadav is much better.yadav better than sreesanth also.

bhaji spot taken by ashwin-zadeja. ashwin-zadeja are the best combo.not wicket takers but best tiGHt bowling.
only suresh raina has big question mark over head ..but otherwise a good team.

that guy yadav need heavy bowling coaching. good physique and style but he lacks variety.
wheras bhuvi with less physique is much more impressive.

Yes this team has got dhoni....and good attacking batsman like kohli and rahane....rohit sharma...
bowlers just need their length ishant will do..and shami need shaping...umesh can turn the situation...more over axar patel..and binny has got power..in addition we have to add shikar dawan..and raina as 11 makes the perfect winning combination.
