a good bowling coach means like Jones said a big name like Donald or McGrath who should be roped in for a long term so that they learn the world class bowling . A coach can give only till his capability which Venkatesh Prasad with all due respect to him , did . That was the time from when the bowling had become mediocre and it continues to do so.We need a class bowling coach, a class chief coach like Kirsten , Ravi Shastry should continue as Director to enforce disciplne too through respect , a real good psychologist , an excellent physio and his staff and ofcourse a taxing fielding coach like Jhonty Rhodes . Bowling and field today are pathetic not that they donlt have the ability but none to give them the true directions. BCCI has the money for these and then see the change . Players should have to sign a disciplinary code too not allowing them to take things for granted .

Prasad is a useless coach who tells pace bowlers that they should reduce their pace and commit themselves to line and length. Under his guidance, no one will attain international class.
