Re: why this

Saha and Raina were useless players when it mattered. Uthappa is a light-year ahead of these two players. Injury to Dhoni before World Cup would place Uthappa in the team to pave way for a few wins. The selection committee is in favor of players without technique. Uthappa has better footwork and stroke-play, and he knows where is off-stump is.
I don't know if BCCI has put a ban on active players giving away interviews or comments about fellow players etc even if it is positive, or matters like what went on in the dressing rooms etc etc
Mere aggression won't win cricket matches. That attitude has to be matched by performance on the field as well. Where are the match winning bowlers - pace or spin? And fielding has to impove exponentially. There were so many embarassing catches getting dropped in the slips. One day cricket doesn't have slips, but the fielding still needs to improve. Just batting alone is not enough to win, especially on Australian grounds that have large boundaries.

The captain Kohli is not to be blamed. Duncan Fletcher and his coterie of coaches are tob blamed and fired. The bowling coaches must be fired and not allowed to come anywhere near the Indian team. When the pace bowlers are capable of bowling in the 140-145 Kilometers per hour or around 90 miles per hour range, the coaches must be fired for sure. We should not entertain useless line-and-length-without-pace advocates like Venkatesh Prasad.

Kohli is more consistent than Tendulkar against good pace bowling. He is like Gavaskar and Dravid in consistency. For your information, Tendulkar does nt have a century in each innings over a record span of 200 Tests. People omit the fact that Tendulkar could not handle pressure even though he had the talent to bat.

As a young kid he didn't respect Dhoni how can one expect him to command respect from his teammates. Only Aggression will lead to failure.

Sarode people like you can only create differences and let India down....
Excellent Praise from India's greatest cricketer and 1983 World Cup Winning Team Captain on Dhoni's retirement. Saluting his decision to retire from Test cricket, former India captain Kapil Dev today said Mahendra Singh Dhoni has given everybody, including the chair-greedy administrators, a food for thought with his bold step. "You could have easily played 100 Tests. We could not do it what you have done by saying 'goodbye, I've done my best and let the next generation come out'. That's why I say 'Dhoni well done, you're my man'," Kapil Dev said during his address at the 4th Tiger Pataudi Memorial Lecture, organised by The Telegraph. "Dhoni you're a great guy. You have served the country so well. He has done a good thing. A lot of people said he should have played at least 100 Tests. I think he has given us a new thought. You don't have to play throughout your life. You should retire when you think the next generation is coming," he said. Quoting Aussie great Greg Chappell, he further said, "He had said one thing which I admire. Any cricketer who plays longer than his time, kills the next three generation. It's a thought I truly admire."

A rat face who is compettitive and goes for excellence is better than a public relations person who does nothing. For example, Indra Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi were all public relations oriented with no concern for achieving any tangible goal. Narendra Modi, on the other hand means business, and you will see the results in due course. Dhoni must not have been maintained as captain after two 4-0 white-washes in crucial overseas tours, punctuated by massive innings defeats. No one can refute this statement based on poor performances by the Indian team in those tours.
