All our bowlers have let down the team and it's surprising most of them are in the world cup .
Well that's the present they get for faring so badly while the best bowlers like Vinay Kumar & Abinay Mithun and the best wicket keeper batsman Robin Utappa are left languishing and winning match after match for their team in Ranji Trophy.
Remove the first test, which would have been a golden opportunity for Ashwin to prove and Karn 'who' Sharma played, the figures of Ashwin and Nathan are almost on par, with twelve wickets each at 48 and 47 runs average respectively. Except for Anil Kumble in 2003-04 series, no other visiting spinners have performed extraordinarily, in Australia, given the nature of the pictures

Hmm. Interesting Analysis. Yes. Nathan is pretty much the same when compared with Ashwin. But he looked lethal because of the aggressive field positions set by Smith whereas MSD didn't give that kind of an attacking field to Ashwin. Given Ashwin an attacking field, you will see him to be real match winner.
By not playing all matches and conceeding over 100 runs in almost all innings, ashwin was a big let down for us. Yet, rediff gives him 6 on 10. No bowler deserves even 5 all have let us down in the entire series.

Yes he desrved one more chance as he did fairly well and if lokesh can get second match despite failing miserably in first why not karn over overhyped ashwin who has failed overseas for fourth time??
it is for 9/10 mistake like dropping ashwin for first test taking karan sharma going to chase big total on last day looking confuse when aus batting and etc

Absolutely agree. They don't want Ashwin in the team at any cost !!! Such hatred for CSK players on display starting with biased commentary poisoning people's minds - highly deplorable !!!
