You are right. Sachin Tendulkar was treated like that and he never delivered much to win Test matches in overseas tours, especially under situations of high pressure.
Virat Kohli has proven that he is an international class batsman and reasonably good and responsible captain. He is not a phony brand like Sachin Tendulkar who maintained a low average on foreign tours with total failures in situations of high pressure.

Well Mr Ravindran think twice before you say anything about a legendary player Sachin. Kohli has scored few centuries and everyone thinks he is a class batsman? Let me remind you Sachin has played against world class bowlers like McGrath, Warne, Wasim, Waqar, Shoaib, Saqlain, Ambrose and Walsh, Vaas and he has done tremendously well. I am sure Kohli wouldn't have played any of these bowlers. He is lucky that mostly every team is goign through transition and their great bowlers have retired. Sachin has played against Australia when they were on high and had world class players. So stop comparing sachin with Kohli. Kohil is not even near to him. He made centuries in test matches against Australia and got out at key moments. He is full of overconfidence. Indian people have no sense of praising players.

No doubt Tendulkar is great. But in the few tests played by Kohli with 10 centuries already in his basket, we can see more exciting innings from him in future. Comparison of Virat with early days of Tendulkar is justified not the Tendulkar after his retirement and his scores

please do not compare Sachin with everyone. It is too early to compare Kohli with Sachin. There is no player in today's cricket who can play like Sachin. He is a great player and no doubt about it. Playing 24 years without spoiling name itself is good thing. His class of batting cannot be compare with anyone. Kohli is a good player and let him play like this.

Hello Mr Varadarajan, Tendulkar averages 57 in test matches outside India during 2003 to 2013.
During same period 2003-2013 outside India he averages 58 in Aus, 69 in NZ & 52 in SA.
Plz dont say when you do not know anything. Plz go and check record for yourself first.

Virat no doubt is a good batsman. But cannot be compared to Sachin. Sachin has played for 20 yrs. This is just start for Virat (Tests). He has yet to prove a lot.
And people like you have no right to even utter Sachin's name.
I am surprised why sanju Samson was not there for tests in Australia and why not in world cup. The board is very biased and giving chance to the useless roger binny's son again and again without rhyme and reason.

What has Sanju done?? Is he the next Adam Gilchrist?? Let him perform in domestic matches first..
