Is really players selected are capable of playing Intl. Cricket
by Mahadev Nivatkar on Jan 12, 2015 11:55 AM

One question, Is really Ishant Sharma is really capable of playing International cricket, who doesnot have line and length knowledge, doesnot have the temprament in bowling death overs, and has he performed well in away india venues,, i suggest Varun Aron is much more better than Ishant if he is not fit due to injury than Ishwar Pandey is the best....Indian Cricket board was never transparent in choosing players for International games......its the fact and cannot be ignored....Mahadev

Things made easy, simplified and ensure...quick exit from WC.

It is very sad and bit cruel to Indian lovers and citizens....to be told be a gentleman politician regarding team selection transparency.....Mr Shukla is really a great man, able administrator and clout-to-core to even move mount-ions, send back river flowing to ocean to Himalayas and make a fly stand like a concrete like World Trade Center.
A simple question is had he ever played cricket or knows basics of cricket...No, NOT & NEVER.
What he wishes to state he can ask chief selector...who comes out rarely in public, seldom speaks and smiles without rhym or reasons...do do so. After all Chief Selector is paid in Lakhs per month besides so many perks.
Shukla Sahib please go to Delhi..your needed more in parliament rather than speak all these..this and that.
Rajiv Shukla had done lots of help to so many who approached him. But he must no talk of things which he does not know and sure off..
I

Thank you the so called Selection Committee for picking such a sub standard team ......which has ensured that the team does exit the tournament in the 1st round....we at least now know that it not worth getting up early or spending hours before the TV set

Can you suggest your 15? There are easily 50 potential players to play for India for WC, if not more. Everyone cannot be satisfied!!

Deserving Players
by Ramesh Mosur on Jan 11, 2015 01:02 PM

The selection is transparent as per Mr. Shukla, maybe the word has a different meaning in his dictionary. If Stuart Binny is deserving as a seam bowling all rounder can he explain how he was preferred over Rishi Dhawan of HP whose domestic record both in batting and bowling is better than that of Binny's. Also I am not aware of Binny having set the world ablaze in the opportunities given to him so far. In the present domestic form Yuvraj would have been a better option compared to R Jadeja who is recovering from Injury.

by your Doctor on Jan 11, 2015 01:00 PM  | Hide replies

yuvis experience though not like past but still can bat, bowl and field better than ashwin, Sehwag's name itself creates fear for any bowler, Gambir experience and vital innings in important games will be missing ofcourse little master is not there to manage any crisis this world cup

Even Hitler's name creates fear in our mind. Indian selectors should have selected Hitler, Chengiz Khan and even extinct T-Rex to play in WC for India
