Exclude all the players in the team and who do we have to play for India? We need 11 players.
Well, his debut hundred was a feast to watch.. He got runs in India on a regular basis.. He also got a century in New Zealand, if my memory serves me better(in the last tour). His talent can't be questioned..
To put in perspective, he does have technical limitations, judging where his off-stump is.. Once this series is over, he needs to seriously work on his technique and sort out his limitations, for he still has so much to contribute and is an aggressive left-hander..

Apart from knowing his off stumo,Dhawan has a fundamental problem,lack of patience.In test cricket you always need to give the first few overs to the bowler, especially overseas. Vijay does that and Dhawan is unable to do that. Dhawan always thinks he is playing T20.
