Not a bad choice as i still remember his debut match where australia was down under against England in a test match. Aston played very combined and matured innings with Shaun marsh. He is too young and long future ahead. It's another opportunity for him after long time and he can really count this opportunity especially against India who is usually vulnerable now a days against spinners.
