Basically he is a wicket keeper and also he can bat like bowling alrounder.We cannot compare his batting with batting specialists. We have to consider his keeping ability and how much he has contributed as bastsmen.It becomes a bonus if he is contributing like a specialist batsman

dhoni must devote time for self defence as crucade shrivasan has made all plans to save guruvayurappan and trap dhoni in guru place in jail as guru is srini son in law and dhoni is not so dhoni has to again call all ex DAV guys in his defence to avoid srinivasan traps to put MSD in jail
Dhoni was an average player in tests, especially Overseas, with may be odd one good innings in each series. At the same time, he alone cannot be blamed for the losses which India suffered in Australia (previous & now), England, South Africa etc. Most of the big guns of Indian batting failed. Sachin, even Dravid failed in Australia, Pujara, Kohli etc etc and most importantly, Indian bowling attack never looks like getting 20 wickets on foreign soil, which is the weakest link. Even unknown, new batsman find favour with Indian bowlers and over the years Indian bowlers have to be credited on allowing mediocre, na Batsmen to bloom in a biiiiig way...Dhoni going in between the series is not the correct decision. He could have continued till this series end..

shrinivasan must be behind the bars otherwise that bramhin will make dhoni also skep goat by destroying evidence in dhoni's defence so dhoni must approach lawyer now not for divorce but srinivasan trap he already got

many captains fail like mike brayerly but motivate team members but this time dhoni fail to motivate his team mates after world cup 2011 on foreign soil so he must retire from test

neither he was a good WK nor a dependable bat in test matches. he suits only for limited over cricket & he makes most of it.

Useless comment!!!. I am watching cricket from Patodi season, only Ganguly and Dhoni is best captains, I have seen.
it is not be noted that only DELHI, KARNATAKA, BOMBAY players were in the indian team. Only after KAPIL DEV, other state people and rural people was shined in the indian cricket. Now DHONI has made a landmark - any body has got determination - can play for INDIA. Example - L Balaji of Tamil Nadu, Praveen AMRE etc...
