Mr. Haddin - Let us be Realistic
by himamshu on Jan 02, 2015 08:28 PM

If Australia had Vanquished India 4-0 and said this statement, I would have agreed happily.

In fact I wanted to see Indian team lose 4-0 and Dhobi losing captaincy.

Only Dhobi resignation was possible, but Indian team did not lose 4-0.

So that means that this present Australian team is worthless and does not have the Ki11er Punch like the Earlier Australian Test sides had.

India lost but NEVER beaten
by Mike Teflon on Jan 02, 2015 03:06 AM  | Hide replies

Firstly India was failed by inept umpires, (Gould was a joker). The umpiring appeared, as though, they were all up in arms against India for turning down DRS in the first 2 tests.

For once, I'd agree with Dhoni that good umpires are better than DRS.. All in all, it was bad umpiring, selection blunders, injuy to Bhuvi that cost India the series, but the effort was never missing..

Time, OZ displayed some backbone!!!

this is pure Australian arrogance.India lost the two tests just due to one poor session in each. It's nonsense to say Australia won it easy. They also had some anxious moments and got away due to inexperience and selection blunders in Indian team.

Australia have not played India out of the series
by Orient Mystique on Jan 01, 2015 06:59 PM

certainly

they should thank the Indian team for scoring self goals

It is unimaginable that an unfit opener scores 80 in one test and in the next comes a cropper with paltry scores in both innings

it is unacceptable that a class player with the best technique scores a century in each innings when he is captain but fails miserably in the next test

it is frivolous that a player reputed to be the best batsmen out of the current lot of youngsters gets very few opportunities to play tests but fritters them away recklessly whether in England or Australia

If the current team with MSD at the helm plays to its potential whether at home or abroad, it will only be possible for the West Indies team of 1970s under Clive Lloyd to beat them. No other team in the world, repeat no other team ikn the world can even dream of beating this Indian team.

But since the current Indian team does not match its talent with attitude, even Bangladesh, Zimbabwe can beat them in Indian pitches!!

Australia winning the series 2-0
by srirama chandra rao on Jan 01, 2015 04:32 PM  | Hide replies

Australia has not won the series easily. INDIA failed to carry on because of failure of our bowlers to some extent and sudden collapse of batting at crucial times cost India the defeat. 2-0 is not truly reflective of the competitiveness of India

exactly...even though India lost the series...I guess they fought well before losing the match/series...Aussies are insecured the manner in which Indians played...Haddin is just another loser who doesn't believe in fair games
