Sachin Exposed

21.      Sachin has been constantly seen over defending when reaching a land mark such as a hundred. Great players cannot possess these kinds of cheap attitudes as great players are decided on the basis of their attitude. Yes that’s right, great players are differentiated by their attitude
22.      Constantly Succumbed under pressure. Whenever faced with a run rate of 5.5 and above, he struggled; facing quality oppositions, quality bowling attacks, he struggled.
23.      Whenever, sachin is the best player in the team, the team would invariably loose except in those cases when bowlers perform out of their skin or other batmen get some match changing knocks.
24.      Sachin is a pampered and spoiled player.
25.      Popularity cannot be the standard to analyze anybody’s greatness as criminals, terrorists; underworld dons too are popular in their circles, groups and countries.
26.      It is widely argued that, 50 out of sachin’s hundreds 100s, have resulted in victories. If we analyze all those 50 matches, we can make out that Sachin was not the match winner in those matches. Real match winners were other players. For instance, Sachin got 196 against Pakistan in a test match that India won. However the match winning knock was played by Viru with his triple hundred. In the VB series that India won, bowlers performed phenomenally well to win the trophy for India and did not allow the aussy to post huge totals.
27.      A similar argument is also put forward by Sachin fans that when india

Sachin was spotted very early for his international cricket. He is lucky in that may be because he was from Mumbai where dominance also waw there in earlier days. Dravid and others started their careeers after six to seven years of Tendulkar's debut though they are all under same age group. That way Tendulkar got popularity because of long innings and record breaking runs in international cricket in test cricket and ODIs.It is not easy to play more than two decades continuously in international cricket even with all backing

28.      Team games are unjust too in giving credit. For instance, in Football, strikers take all the credit and defenders do not get any credit. In cricket, batmen take more credit than the bowlers. The reality is different. Two teams that dominated the cricket world, West Indies and Australia respectively, were great teams because of their bowling. Anil Kumble who is the greatest match winner in Indian cricket takes a back seat in popularity and acknowledgement. Who deserves more respect a match winner or a player who just gets some lousy knocks?
29.      Sachin did not deserve a place in the team on merit atleast after 2004 in one day matches and from 2008 in test team. However corporates who have huge investments on Sachin, made sure Sachin remained in the team for their investment recovery.
30.      Prolonged his retirement until he started stinking.
31.      If a lie is repeated multiple times, it is perceived to be true. It holds good for Sachin as Sachin being recognized to be the greatest player is a blatant lie and repeated many a times by his fans, and media persons to stamp it in the minds of people.
32.      Has been a hurdle to the youngsters in the team.He got Bharat Ratna because he is from Mumbai and his false popularity.

Come on Naveen, you have stoped after writing 30 points against Sachin. We are expecting at least 100 from you. Come on.

Naveen, this is fantastic! You have captured all the facts in the best possible manner and have represented what an over rated player he was. It always looked like Indians derived pleasure from appreciation of this player. Watch any news or interviews of ex-players. They surely tend to bring up this question of who was the best player. The intention has always been to play at the psyche of the India masses. Any commentator criticizing Tendulkar has his future halted. Chappel was right, this guy has been inflexible and has not done anything for the Team. He didnt agree to the demands of the situation and play in the middle order either. We dont have to look far for a bigger role model then Rahul Dravid. He has opened, played in the middle, lower order as well. He has even donned on the role of the Wicketkeeper.

He no where compares to the legends like Viv Richards or the likes and commercialization has taken him to the levels which in reality should have been heaped on to someone else.

Is it correct to blame Chappel?
by naveen on Feb 13, 2015 01:34 PM

In 2007 world cup, India had to win 2 out of 3 of their matches to reach the next round. there were two minnows, bangaladesh and bermuda. Loosing to bangladesh cost india dearly. Shame on all the Indian cricket players and Indian people who blame chappel for their loss against bangladesh.

2007 was the reality, 2011 a fixture
by Bharat Kumar on Feb 13, 2015 01:27 PM  | Hide replies

much as we would hate to admit, 2007 was lost as much due to politicking by the veterans...2011 was too close

all these chats only show that more than focussing the game, people including sachin tendulkar, ganguly, etc. were full of themselves, opinionated and had no stake or real drive to win the game.

if the guys had the drive, they will win against all odds..unless fixed

Yeah so they should have a win rate of 100% and the other team is just a filler ...playing without drive, just to loose.. and then there country ppl will say that the match was fixed...Insane logic

He is a psychiatric patient. Should get himself treated.
In addition, he had no intention to do anything good for the Indian team.
It is very unfortunate that BCCI didn't see his idiocy and obsessive compulsive tendencies in time and destroyed a great team in those days
