I just dont understand how India can make it to semis this time. If you look at the WC teams in the past, we have had the best team for 2003 world cup and expectely made it to finals only to lose to the Aussie invincible squad. In the other occasion when we made to semis, i.e 1987 WC, 1996 WC and 2011 WC - we had the home advantage and everyone knows how well we play at home. 1983 was the biggest upset in WC history and it wasn't the case of India defeating WI, but WI due to their arrogance and over-confidence, lost to India. 1975, 1979, 1992 and 2007 WCs were disasters. I guess the team we have now is of the same strenght as 1999 team and I dont see them progressing beyond QF.
Pak is very determined to beat us. so following is must 1. dont drop catches,mis stumping, runout. 2. play game normally without pressure. 3. don't panic
no doubt Dhoni'd boys are the weakest team ever sent for world cup, and many might at the end of their career after WC. But just have one look at the pakistan's wc squad "Misbah-ul-Haq,Ahmed Shehzad,Ehsan Adil,Haris Sohail,Mohammad Irfan,Nasir Jamshed,Rahat Ali,Sarfraz Ahmed,Shahid Afridi,Sohaib Maqsood,Sohail Khan,Umar Akmal,Wahab Riaz,Yasir Shah,Younis Khan " ..only misbah, afridi, akmal and younis have played in australian bouncy pitches before..on top of this others have played very few internationals. I still believe Dhoni's team have good chance of defeating Pakistan team this time as well

Many Players from Pakistan have gone into retirement with the same dream and have left a legacy for future players of their team...So new paki players, be ready to get nightmares which will haunt you for life........

Truly agreed, better they should have sent one best player from each of the states which might have performed better.......
Rohit not at all dependable, Dhawan technically very incorrect, Raina not useful outside sub-continent, Jadeja very unpredictable, Ashwin not a wicket tacking spinner, Mohit Sharma highly over-rated, Yadav- not at all dependable leaks runs, Shami got in parts but leaks too much runs.......
In his playing days and also suffered from a nervous breakdown..........i think when this mentally fragile former pak keeper starts making predictions, it is clear they are gonna get whacked once again.......mark my words.......

In fact indian Bowlers can't take wickets in regular interval on Afghanistan match. And also their bowling was very effective in initial overs. It will be a very big question for Indian team to over come pakistan.
