THE SA SIDE WILL BE TROUNCED IN ENGLAND TOO NEXT

More than Kohli it is the BCCI which is to be complimented for having managed to extend the match to 5 days and proving their point on pitch controversy. Kohli could have wrapped it up in just 3 days if only he had enforced the follow-on. Although India won 3-0 which could have been even 4-0 but for rain Indian batting especially the openers and the middle order are still cause for worry. It was the main reason why India lost the one dayers which they were expected to win. When will Murali Vijay play with authority like an established Test batsman like a Gavaskar ? It looks as though he is still batting to cement his place in the Test side.Pathetic. About Dhawan, less said the better.I think a youngster should be given chance in the opening slot with Dhawan playing only the shorter format. Pujara ? He should train with under-19 team to learn ABCD of copy book cricket although he looks better playing shots freely. Kohli and Rahane were the only saving grace on the batting front. About Rohit, reams of print have written and not much to add. He himself looks disinterested then why thrust Test cricket on him ? W/Saha was of course a revelation and part of the lower order batting which actually bailed out and helped India win the series. Bowling and fielding were immaculate with Ashwin- Jadeja combo proving insurmountable for the proteas. Mishra too was missed badly at Delhi. Umesh Yadav was rarely seen bowling in such good rhythm and control ! Coming to SA, this side

(contd.)..Coming to SA, this side can never be the no.1 side and are certain to be trounced in England next. With Hashim Amla in pitiable form and rest inexperienced, ABD is the only batsman who could stand up. On the bowling front too with Dale Steyn past his prime the Proteas are work in progress side for sure.

2001 Series Victory over Australia was Much More Fair & Hones
by RSS on Dec 09, 2015 12:28 AM

I saw India vs Australia back in 2001 when Australia had Won 16 Test Matches in a Row & Beat India at Mumbai in the 1st Test, Later India Won the Next 2 Tests (Without Rank Turners & Spin Heavy wickets) & the Then India Team Played Fairly & it was an Evenly Balanced Wicket where there was Fairplay & Justice. Fast Bowlers & Spinners got wickets, Batsmen scored Heavy runs (VVS & Dravid in particular).

This Series must be Ranked as The Worst, Poorest & Cheapest in terms of Fairness, Sportsmanship & it shows & Proves that India cannot Win if there is NO SPIN in the wicket.

It leaves a F0u1 taste in the mouth & I am Sure South Africa & Rest of The Pace Oriented World will be Desperate to Dethrone India from the 2nd Rank that has been obtained by adverse Home advantage.

And Yes - Don't compare this Test Match with Australia vs New Zealand which Finished inside 3 days - Both Aussies & Kiwis know how to Play, Bowl & Handle Fast Bowling and can undo each other on the given day. Both Australia & New Zealand are more than capable of delivering the Knockout punch on Australian as well as New Zealand conditions as they have a Very Good Pace attack.

South Africa were always at unease from the beginning of their Cricketing History in playing spin & they faltered miserably when the Ball Turned Square from Day One.

The Pitch Curators must have been Awarded with a Very High Sum of money - Or they might have been intimidated w

Series Win

On record India has won the Test Series 3-0. However the statements issued by our Ex-Cricketers and cricket officials, after the matches, in defence of the pitch, leaves an unceremonious tinge on this victory.

There is no tinge, as Ashwin said he never complained in SA, so overseas teams need not complain plus this test has shown that there were no devils in the pitch.

Test matches are finishing on day 3 in Australia too!

It is shameful that instead of congratulating team India Pony bhakts are trying to undermine the win.

What can Pony bhakts say now because Kohli has performed and India has won and his decision of taking Yadav paid rich dividends.

Dear bhakts fixxer Pony is history now, more so as Srini uncle is out too.

What is even better is that we have wicket keeper who can catch and bat too, after along time.

Saha has proved it in Lanka and here too.
