Winning is Definitely Important - But not in this Manner
by SS on Dec 02, 2015 12:40 AM

Yes, we all Want to see India Win inside India and abroad as well, and we need to Win big.

I would totally agree if Indians had prepared an even wicket that suits Pacemen and Batsmen on Days 1,2 and 3.

There should be Vicious Turn and Bounce only from Day 4 and Day 5 as the wicket crumbles with Batsmen's Footmarks near the stumps.

If Indians had prepared these type of wickets nobody would have raised a finger against us.

However Indians chose to teach South Africa and Sound a Warning to The Rest of The World that "In Future if you come to Play Cricket in India - This is how your team will be put to the sword".

That was the message we get from this series.

It is not only Unsporting, Ungentlemanly and Opportunistic - But it also goes against The very Spirit of The Game (Same applies to Australia, England, New Zealand and South Africa as well when they prepare Bouncy and swinging pitches for other teams).

There should be a Level Playing field and we also need to Respect Batsmen who have to score runs, Fast bowlers need wickets and Spinners too need wickets.

The Wicket should never have a bias towards anyone skill, but it must be evenly prepared and nurtured to cater to all departments and ensure a Healthy competition (Not reducing it heavily in favour of Batsmen nor bowlers).

The Parity, Balance and Fairness must be restored.

The team which can Balance all 3 and do all 3 skills simultaneously should come out as victors.

With so much being said and written about pitches, it clear that the Pitch played a very great part, in the Indian Victoty.

Every tem prepares suitable pitches
by Ajay Pendse on Dec 01, 2015 04:33 PM

Every Team, Aus, SA, WI, Pak, England prepare pitches suitable to their bowlers. Hence we should not brag on the issue of pitches in this series.
