Better Gavaskar does refrain himself from giving unsolicited advice. He is not in the selection committee, he is not Manager of the team. He should stop giving his comments like this.
Obvious replacement for Vijay is Pujara. Saha is Naman Ojha.
What about playing Karun Nair, who plays for Karnataka in first class cricket, in place of Rohit Sharma?, why I am saying this is because he can also be use as off-break bowler.
He has scored 1724 first class runs with very healthy average of 50.70 with five 50's and five 100's. He looks very talented player with good temperament for First class, A-list (India-A) as well as for Rajasthan royals under the guidance of Rahul Dravid. I think he deserves a chance.
Give Binny one more chance and play Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, IF HE IS ABSOLUTELY FIT ONLY THEN-in place of out of form Umesh Yadav who was not that good and inconsistent.
Gavaskar wants Binny out, and this is coming from the guy who put Suru Nayak in his team when he was the captain just because Nayak was his Bombay teamate!!! Two face !!!

Every Indian captain had this tendency to choose his favourite player. Ganguly did it the most by selecting out of form players in place of in-form players, Dhoni did it many times by selecting his CSK out of form teammates, so Gavaskar was no exception, this has been our trend in the past.

for that matter even bhuvi is not your five wickets per innings bowler...mr gavaskar...
he is an economical bowler, yes but now a wicket taking bowler...it is shami who is a wicket taking bowlers but unfortunately for us, injured at the moment...

Why are you bringing language based politics here? Ajinkya Rahane is the most consistent batsman in Indian batting line up he thoroughly deserve his place in the side his batting average and ability to bat any position proves that. Your hatred for M.manoos is so much that you have lost the basic knowledge of cricket otherwise you wouldn't have thrown this sort of mud-slinging on all time batting genius like Sachin and now the most comsistent Rahane. It's shame that people like you bring language based politics even in cricket.
