the most relevant thing so far in this series, viz, that India did not win the first test because - and only because - the umpire made a very glaring error to allow Dinesh Chandimal to bat on after being very obviously dismissed when on 5 !!
Compared to India in first test where they are supposed to score 176 in so much time spare, India was bundled out around 130 in the second innings. From winning position INdia lost the match. But srilanka is not in a winning position having given first innings lead to India and that too they need to bat in the fourth innings. Things are same as far as second innings is concerned both teams were all out for around 130 runs. iNDIA got lessons from the first test loss and Indian batting improved and circumspect with good team work at the end. Better team won the test. Srilanka was lucky to win the first test against better team
