This time in Sri lanka will be same for KOHLI, he has forgotten how to play cricket .It is better for him to choose acting career along with Anuska ,he will be flourishing in that field another Indian cricketer will get the chance to play for India

THE BEGINING OF THE 6-5 COMBO UNDER TEST FOR FUTURE
by damodaran mohan on Aug 11, 2015 04:16 PM  | Hide replies

Somehow I think India never took SL seriously as far as Test cricket is concerned which explains the lean Ind-SL series played over the yrs. Now this series coming at a time when both the sides are not great TEST sides and the series marred with rain disruption , it might not be all that memorable series unless Virat Kohli the new captain under intense scrutiny makes it one. May be Sangakara’s presence will liven up things a bit but the fact remains world over with popularity of shorter form of cricket gaining ground the popularity of TEST cricket itself has been on the wane with Test matches mostly finishing under 4 days. In the Ashes series the 4th Test could not last even 2 and half days !So given this background I am not sure how much interest this series will evoke ? Going by the preparatory 3 day match, even the new look Indian side could be expected to sail through w/o much trouble as except for Sangha most of the other big names were there and still the SLans struggled! But for rain interruptions there is no chance of any of the 3 Tests stretching to 5 days for sure. For Indian batting, having got used to the cushion of six batters it will be a real test of character for the batters with one batsman short. With Kohli too passing through a lean patch it will be real test for likes of inconsistent Dhawan and Rohit Sharma . It will be an acid test for Dhawan generally vulnerable to spin. Let’s hope poor Pujara too will get chance. Rahane of course ha

(contd.)..Rahane of course has been playing well in recent times and could be the main stay of MO. Given the wet conditions the spinners could struggle but a welcome start of a positive 5 bowlers attacking combo for future. However too many rain interruptions could play spoil sport as happened during SA-B’desh series.
