Booing doesn't make any one wrong. If booing crowd is foolish like sheep which follow any directions without proper self judgement, what can anyone do. Here it was clear case of Kamal Mustafa wrong doing in abusing umpires, which was restricted by ICC. Its the case of our country's righteousness against Kamal's abuses, and Srinivasan is correct in instant case. Sorry I don't follow crowd without applying my brain!

I fully agree,Kamal is a staunch Bangaladeshi. He cannot think beyond his own country in the organisation like International body of cricket-The ICC.Being in office of an international body it was pity that Kamal chose to criticise umpiring in the match of his own country.Very very bias attitude Mr. Kamal.

Srinivasan is not as bad as is portrayed here. His ICC Presidentship was cleared by courts as his President ship of Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (Member of BCCI) has been kept intact by court. His only mistake he defended his foolish son-in-law, personally he was not involved in any wrong doings, you may check courts orders...

Kamal calls Srinivasan 'rotten'
by mallajosyula senior on Apr 01, 2015 07:29 PM  | Hide replies

It proves beyond doubt that all people cannot occupy top posts and perform well. Though he was the ICC president, he never behaved like one commenting on umpiring decisions, technology was not used for the match and ICC score board has displayed that India will win. Whom he is blaming when he himself is the boss and he could have taken remedial measures. Whatever is the quality of ICC chairman as BCCI president calling a human being as rotten is bad taste and shows the character of the person.

One may not agree with all that Srini has done but he should be treated as innocent until the Courts find him guilty. A section of the media is out to get him and they expose themselves. Mustafa Kamal has shot himself in the foot and put that foot in his mouth. Mistakes by Umpires are common and they should be accepted with good grace. Did he really think that India would lose to Bangladesh? In the process he has damaged the ties between India and Bangladesh and the poor cricketers of Bangladesh are the sufferers.

Mustafa Kamal insult Srinivasan
by Pradip Shah on Apr 01, 2015 06:40 PM  | Hide replies

I have absolutely no love, respect or affection for Mr Srinivasan but if you treat him as a representative of Indian Cricket, must ava Kamal should be reprimanded for her insulting behaviour. India's contribution is highest to the income of ICC and countries like Bangladesh don't contribute anything are beggars and developing cricket in their countries with our money. This beggars has no right to say anything to the representative of Indian cricket.First let them earn money themselves, become self sufficient, stand on ther feet then aquire right to say something insulting to others. Till that time let them keep their mouth shut.

You have used words excessive to what actually is... Srinivasan's only mistake was he defended his son-in-law Meiyyapan who was involved in betting (not fixing). Srinivasan is not involved in any corruption matter till date, he was tried in Courts and was cleared, other than his foolish son-in-law what he has done. The reason why Supreme Court allowed his Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (BCCI constituent member) president post intact allows him to be ICC president. Supreme Court only has allowed him to apply to ICC President post if you can check history. I am not praising Srini, but bad words & punishments to be in tune with his errors.

In fact after Hon'ble Supreme Court of India restrained him from becoming the Chairman / President of BCCI the ICC should have followed suit.

It was Honorable Supreme Court which cleared Srivasan's application to ICC Presidentship (check history before commenting). The blocking petition of Aditya Verma was declined by court. Srinivasan is not as bad as depicted here, he has some good work to his credit too...
