why Utappa did not play yesterday for KKR

KKR badly missed Utappa yesterday, their top scorer in the IPL 7. Why he was not selected. Was he injured or dropped. If dropped it was a very very wrong decision on the part of Ghambir who it seems more interested in promoting Bisla.

So CLT20, 2014 starts with a bang literally !What an innings ! It was awesome and no one far less Dhoni & co. would have bargained for anything like this ! They looked shell shocked at Andre Russel's blitzkreig at a time when they thought the match was in their pocket with KKR reeling at 51/4! Moral of the story ? Do not take T20 game for granted till the last ball is bowled as complacency on the part of CSK did play a part . After reducing the opposition to 51/5 needing over 100 runs @ 10runs/over goes on to lose the match, question is is it still a champion side ? T20 format is more of a tactical game and a fall of wicket need not be a cause of celebration but could become a curse too ! That is why tactically it might be preferable for the bowling side to delay the next man ,a Russel or a Keiron Pollard and jack up the asking rate by just limiting the run rate than take wicket! Coming to the match , CSK were bit unlucky too with couple of close calls not just from field umpire but also from the 3rd umpire not going their way! Organizers have to keep a strict watch on this particular 3rd umpire’s future decision making in the tournament. As far as CSK is concerned unless their spinners are effective I do not see the side making much progress in the tournament. That is why their batting has to click and anything less than 180 on such wicket is below par at least for this CSK bowling attack. Ashwin has to learn the art of ‘deception’ and introducing
