East or west, Dhoni is the best!
by K Ram on Sep 06, 2014 07:19 PM

There's none better than MSD when it comes to giving excuses. This time, he has attributed it to soft dismissals, next time, "hard" dismissals and so on... When will he learn to accept that they were outplayed and the day's showing is only their real stock and the earlier wins were mere flashes in the pan? Kozhi should have been given man of the series for his brilliant all round performance. Keep it up Kozhi!

it might be like this
by suraj on Sep 06, 2014 03:55 PM

if my guess is not incorrect it may be this..

Anderson has speacial preperation for Rahane but its not great delivery at all might be Rahane memories are not yet faded while batting... its a new game baby(Rahane), Kohli again fall to a same ball same wicket only thing is its ODI. Moen Ali very clever learning from others his style almost mimics Swan.
Ali bowling cannot be taken lightly as his brain is not english one rather an asian(he can read well us). rayudu and raina both attacking at the same time is not correct tactic post drinks. wrong cut shots costed by raina and dhawan. 35-39 overs power play was nicely calculated i appreciate cooky.

Why not Farooq Engineer or Ajit Wadekar??? Look ahead! Do not look back for solutions. There are many better opening bats in their 20s around.

Soft loss n lost match

Consistency is never indias virtue. Except rayudu, shikar n ash win all were casual. Virat has to focuses rather than getting querulous. Talking of World Cup lot of professionalism is reqd. One must look at Brits n Aussies on this.

Surrender
by c v sureshkumar on Sep 06, 2014 12:49 PM  | Hide replies

Looked like it was a surrender since beginning... When Eng was maintaining about 5 runs on an average since beginning, our players hardly thought of containing the run rate.. then, as we have seen in the test series, they resorted to irresponsible batting that led to the downfall... they know that since they have already won the series, the wrath may get may be comparatively low...they took things for granted...

conceding almost 150 runs in the last 15 overs was the main reason for the loss.
