T20 World cup - Done CB Series in Australia - Done IPL - Done Champions League - Done 50 Over World Cup - Done ICC Champions Trophy - Done NO. 1 Ranking in Tests - Done NO. 1 Ranking in ODIs - Done NO. 1 Ranking in T20s - Done India's Most Successful Test Captain - Done And now.. India's Most Successful ODI Captain - Done! \m/ Yes, India has struggled to win tests overseas.. But admit it.. What MSD has done for Indian cricket, no one else has even done half of it.. We are Mighty Proud of you skipper! :)
I have seen for first time that a home team is offering pitches tailor made for opposite team.It is quite clear that Srinivasan is working with full might to get a favourable result in ODI to save his favourite captain after being mauled & looked like a mouse in real version of the game.He knows the short memory of Indian cricket fans who are already celebrating a fake win after real debacle & capitulation in test series by captain & batsman.

After Losing Quarter Finals in 2011 WC - Ponting said India will win world cup. Certain things are fixed
Now that India has somegreat cricks, it is time the board recruits them as coaches instead of going after the white men. There was a time when the Indian coaches were not good but Ravi Shastri has shown that the situation is different. There is Shastri, Dravid, Ganguli,Tendulkar and kapil who can be drafted, provided they are willing to sacrifice their earnings for Indian cricket.
Indians are very good in one day cricket without much assistance.Fletcher has been made a scapegoat for India's perfomance in the test series. Actually Shashtri should have been appointed director before the Test matches then we would have known Shastri's value to the Indian Team. Indian team's Test perfomance is very poor in countries in like England,NZ & Australia. This ploy is just to give Shashtri allthe credit as he is in the good books of the BCCI.

Absolutely correct. Indians are fit only to play shorter version of cricket. Not fit to play tests that need application, technique and discipline. With field restrictions, bowling restrictions and rubbish rules, ODIs are not cricket but commercial entertainment. And Indian players are very good at it! Shashtri's worth would have been correctly assessed, had he been able to make the turn-around in tests.

you are correct mr bankim. if u analyse the performance in test matches, there were two turning points of the series. When we were 1-0 up, Jadeja dropped cook in slips and rohit played a vague shot to moeen ali and got out. Very crucial two factors which costed us the series. Once the series got levelled , youngsters could not get out of the loss and inexperience showed. We needed somebody like shastri to encourage them. But BCCI slept till the series was over and then took up actions.
