Stuart Binny comes across as a decent bits and pieces cricketer...but seems more suited for T20. To be a genuine allrounder.....Kapil Dev, Jacques Kallis, Adam Gilchrist etc...you should be able to make it to the team atleast on any one strength - either batting, bowling or wk. Otherwise when things are fine people will say ohh he can bat or bowl..but when things are not so fine...people will comment...why is he in the team when he can neither bat nor bowk...recent example Jadeja in England Test Matches.
Why leave uthappa again mumbay poltics at its best? what r our explayers doing sleepin fight man fight.alwyas it is karnataka who are figters,Anyway we will rem this insult
Mr Binny has not lived upto his potential so far. But better he be included as an alrounder. In fact one spinner, three pacers, one alrounder with Dhoni being wicket keeper and front line batsman with five specialist batsmen should make the team ideal. In that case either Jadeja or Binny or Karan should be in the eleven. We should find a specialist spinner. If Karan can find a place as a specialist bowler then either Jadeja or Binny can be included. Both are useful alrounders.
It is waste of a selection. I think for the last two years Binny had a very good season wioth both bat and ball. HJis first class records show. Everybody who says it is a waste must see. But what to do if Dhoni doesnt like him to be in the team at first place ? The last two series we had seen Dhoni did not give a single over to bowl and for batting he was sent after Jadeja ie at no 8 I think binny should be given atleast 5 overs and atleast he should bat at 6 if he is selected. He has got power to hit big sixes as well. but Dhoni wnats his chennai eleven in the team I think Binny should be playng both one day and test cricket. ahead of jadeja or any other player. I think being a selectors or a legends son has been his disadvantage. People look him at that way

Dispassionately viewed, even Roger Binny was not a great or good bowler. His success is 'one off'. He has suddenly become a "legend" because of that one feat. His son, Stuart Binny, is no great shakes. His is, at best, a mediocre bowler who succeeded in friendly conditions in India (Bangladesh is no different!). Now to vault him into stratosphere as a great or good all-rounder, or to say that his was fabulous in bowling out Bangladesh, is inviting trouble. World cricketers would love to see him bowl as they will have a chance to wallop the leather to their heart's content. No, Sir, Binny is not a good option. Why don't you try out several other youngsters who are screaming to be blooded? Like Akshar Patel, that new kid on the block, Yadav, etc?
Waste of time including him in the team. Unfortunately he find find a place since his dad is a selector. The other selectors to get their candidates in, will push Binny also in the team. Ultimately India will be loser. What has he done to merit a place? There is no answer coming through to support that. So he should not go yo World Cup. But he will go. Unfortunate though.
