Venue change.....
by adam smith on Oct 13, 2014 06:31 PM  | Hide replies

Even before the 2nd ODI in Delhi was played, it was already expected that the Visakhapatnam ODI may not be possible due to the impending cyclone. If Lalit Modi could succeed in moving the complete IPL tournament to South Africa within a week or so, why was it not possible for BCCI to move the 3rd ODI to any other venue in India?

If, as they say, that it was not possible due to logistics of moving the media bandwagon, why could the 3rd ODI not be held in Delhi itself?

Maybe the BCCI was too busy trying to save itself from Lalit Modi and RCA than to apply themselves to the problem of the venue for the 3rd ODI!!

Don't believe their statements now. Till now they were saying that the ODI will go ahead.

Then, about another hot topic:
The long reach (many arms) of Nobel
Nobel and his alms

It is very telling that Nobel committee seems to know more about the "good work" done by Indians than our own media. Where was this guy all these years --- I hardly saw his name mentioned.

Also, all the awards won by him down the years seem to be from USA. What does that tell you?

Then, the "India-Paki equal equal" fiction promoted by all goras. China's National newspaper, The Hindu, even reported it as, Two South Asians get Nobel.

Very very interesting.

Only BCCI is capable of drawing up such weird schedule like ..Delhi,Vizag and then Dharamashal....!Shouldn't ti have been Delhi,Dharamshala amd Vizag the logical sequence considering the geographical locations and connectivity....? Strange are BCCI's logic of scheduling...?

It would be interesting to know how they chose the venues. Possibly by draw of lots. Otherwise it simply fails to falls into any logic. They always plan a match at unappropriate locations at Unappropriate time

A Backup plan? That too from BCCI? You must be joking. They don't have time t count their money, where is the time to take care of viewer's interests?
