The real villain is Dhoni
by pradeep agarwal on Oct 09, 2014 04:39 PM  | Hide replies

He has now decided to finish Ashwin after his comments against his captaincy. He is doing the same to Umesh Yadav by keeping him more on bench then in the playing X1.The decision to bowl in hot & humid weather was either a planned move to give WIndies runs so as to make chase interesting which backfired.

There is no one dared to say to drop kohli as he endorse many brands in the retail market, so there is no chance to drop kohli....

Absolutely true. Cricket is controlled by these brands these days. Sports has been taken away from cricket looong back.

Poor understanding Dhoni
by Hari Indian on Oct 09, 2014 02:22 PM

Mr. Dhoni says the bowlers bowled well in the death, when actually they gave 81 runs in the last 11 overs.

I wonder if this is good how bad is bad Mr. Dhoni.

I'd rather say, struggling Kohli should vacate his slot and should take a break instead of trying various batting positions from 1 to 11 (or, should bat at No. 12 or 13...) Why is he treated special? Is such an allowance given to a Manoj Tiwari, Murali Vijay or Ambati Rayudu? On current form, he deserves to be dropped and not considered for the tour down under unless he proves batting form in the domestic circuit for an year or so. Let cricketing wisdom and not business houses which invested huge on cricketers dictate selection. Let Kozhi not take his place in the side for granted and deny another deserving cricketer his chance to stake his claim for the spot. he has already proved well that, class is temporary and his (poor) form is permanent.

it is time to drop virat kohli from india team. too much of failure. a kick on the back by dropping him from the side will do a lot good to him. He is overconfident and is not ready to learn from mistakes. getting out in same way in most innings shows that he is poor learner.make him learn by dropping and ask him to correct his basics.

100%. you're dead right! By blaming bowler, MSD only protects batsmen like Virat who on current form, doesn't deserve a place even in Bangladesh or Zimbabwe team.

World Waste to Watch them play
by Raj Kumar on Oct 09, 2014 01:29 PM

We would better watch other sports than watching these millionaires play and earn without any real potential and fooling us.

should be dropped immediately. He didnt look convincing and played very slowly. Rahane hit a few boundaries because of which the runrate looked good at the start otherwise dhawans slow batting would have been exposed. He anyway batted very slowly all throughout and after his initial couple of matches has done nothing at all. We should find another partner for rahane at the earliest.

Agree with you.It was a freakish knock that could have terminated at any point of time. His lack of footwork has done him in many times in past & will do so in future as well.
