Basics

His basics against the short ball is flawed. In India its fine, abroad he will fail. Especially Test matches there is no place to hide.

No excuses Ravi

The whole team and entire crew sank us, the fans in England. It's not form, Anushka Sharma, lack of acclimitisation or any other reason..

The players miserably lacked technique in facing up to the swinging ball and it was too obvious that they were under-prepared and overconfident.

You might win us a world cup next year by playing slam-bang cricket, but the fans will never forgive you guys for 5 consecutive test series losses..

Just shame. You now perform in Australia in test cricket or perish.

Just enough with all the excuses..

India under Dhoni lost 5 consecutive test series abroad.. They boast of a great one day side and coolest leader at the helm..

If they continue to neglect Test cricket, cricket will die a most painful death in India. ODI's are already boring and meaningless and too much of T20's would kill spectator interest.

Cricket would soon be extinct from Sub-continent.

Ravi Shastri's hope

I fail to understand how Ravi Shastri is so optimistic about Raina. Pitches in India suited him to play good knocks but he failed miserably during his last stint abroad as pitches are bouncy and fast. Let's wait till India reaches Australia.

yep, but he worked on his technique a lot and is better equipped to face the rising ball as well as judging outside off..

It still remains to be seen how best he performs, given a chance..
